This is an album that was begun in late 1992 in San Jose, and completed twenty years later in Brooklyn.

Michael de la Cuesta wrote the words, Helene Bellenkes brought them to life with her dramatic recitation. The soundtrack was improvised as the story was read; four of us (JB, Helene, Matthew, and Vince) had no idea what Mike had written, and were reacting to the words "in the moment". It was a sort of spontaneous radio-play, or hörspiel. After we finished, the master tape was put away, not to be listened to for decades...

Late in 2011, the original 4-track cassette master tape was re-discovered in the VTH archives. Some judicious editing took place, and many overdubs were added.

Engineer deluxe Ross Bonadonna did an amazing job of polishing up the sound.
