The rarest of the original VTH albums! Unavailable for years, we are here presenting a FREE DOWNLOAD of Aum Carve Etude "H", an album of cut-ups and audio collage.
This album was originally released in 1998 in a very limited series - only 42 were made, each album containing original, individual handmade x-acto collage art by the incredible artist Theodore Sandquist.
There was a second, very limited number of second edition CDs - less than 20 - in 2002, with standardized artwork and a small digest-size booklet of illustrations.

This album was begun as a series of studio-based improvisations, something completely apart from what the band was playing live at this time. Many, many musicians were brought in, in diverse groupings; The results were edited, spliced, and formed into larger structures, using recordings made as early as 1985 and as lately as 2021. Punk rock, electronic music, sound collage, chamber music, it's all in there, as well as plenty of "in-jokes" for the musicians involved.

Ron Anderson, Chandra Shukla, Moe Staiano, Matthew Waldron are all here, along with Rick Barber, JB, Mike D and the rest of the VTH all stars.
